We offer both targeted yeast two-hybrid verification and library screening services for studying protein-protein interactions (PPIs). For special targets such as membrane proteins, we also offer membrane-based yeast two-hybrid systems to compensate for the limited applicability of the classic nuclear system to membrane proteins.
When you have a protein of interest but have no idea which proteins it might interact with, yeast two-hybrid library screening helps you find candidate interacting proteins from scratch — answering "who’s in this protein’s ‘social circle.’"
The classic yeast two-hybrid system is based on the separable, reconstitutable DNA-binding domain (BD) and activation domain (AD) of a transcription factor (such as GAL4). The bait protein is fused to BD and the prey protein to AD; if the two proteins interact, BD and AD are brought back into spatial proximity, activating expression of a downstream reporter gene (such as HIS3 or LacZ), and the interaction is judged by auxotrophic selection or a colorimetric reaction.
Interacting protein identification, interacting domain mapping, research into upstream/downstream signaling pathway relationships, etc.
Special targets such as membrane proteins can also be covered

Sequencing plus a verification report delivered
Targeted verification or library screening, as needed
Submit your experimental plan and objectives
Technical advisor confirms the protocol and timeline
Pay a deposit of at least 50% of the project cost to enter production
Quality control documented throughout production
Settle the balance and complete acceptance
Standard, custom, and large orders all require a deposit of at least 50% of the contract value to begin. The timing for the remaining balance is agreed separately for each project.
