Recombinant Protein
Custom Expression Across Prokaryotic/Eukaryotic Systems

We offer custom recombinant protein services across multiple expression systems — E. coli, yeast, mammalian cells (HEK293/CHO), and insect-baculovirus — covering expression vector construction, small-scale expression optimization, large-scale fermentation/culture, purification, and QC.

Purpose & Application Scenarios

Purpose

When you need a high-purity target protein for antibody development, structural research, or functional experiments, and the protein may require complex post-translational modifications (such as glycosylation), choosing the right expression system ensures you get an active, functional protein — answering "how do you actually get a protein that ‘works.’"

Application Scenarios

Technical Principle & Applications

Technical Principle

The gene of interest is cloned into an expression vector containing an inducible promoter and transformed/transfected into a host cell; the target protein is expressed after induction, then purified through multiple steps such as tag-affinity chromatography (e.g., Ni-NTA) combined with ion exchange and size-exclusion chromatography to obtain a high-purity protein. Eukaryotic systems are suited to complex proteins requiring post-translational modifications such as glycosylation.

Applications

Antigen preparation, enzyme activity research, structural analysis, interaction research, antibody drug development, etc.
