We provide stable, cell-level gene knockout services, delivering the full process from sgRNA design, vector construction, and transfection/screening to single-clone selection and verification — maintaining a consistent gene-loss state across multiple passages, unlike transient interference.
When you want to know what happens to the cell/organism if a gene is completely gone, gene knockout provides the most direct evidence of loss of function — answering "what happens when this gene’s function is completely lost."
The CRISPR/Cas9 system consists of the Cas9 nuclease and a single-guide RNA (sgRNA). The sgRNA recognizes a specific site on the target gene through base complementarity and guides Cas9 to cut both DNA strands at that site, creating a double-strand break (DSB). Cells mainly repair the break through non-homologous end joining (NHEJ), a process prone to base insertions or deletions (indels) that cause a frameshift mutation and loss of target gene function. Knockout efficiency is confirmed through single-clone selection, Sanger sequencing, and Western blot verification.
Gene function research, signaling pathway analysis, antibody verification, disease model construction, drug target verification, etc.
Dual confirmation via Sanger sequencing and Western blot
