We offer custom polyclonal antibody (PcAb) and monoclonal antibody (McAb) services, covering antigen design and preparation, immunization, titer testing, cell fusion and screening (for monoclonals), and antibody purification and identification — supporting peptide antigens, recombinant protein antigens, and other immunogen strategies.
When there is no commercial antibody available for your target protein/epitope, or an existing antibody’s specificity isn’t ideal, a custom antibody gives your detection assays (WB/IHC/IF/ELISA, etc.) a dedicated, highly specific tool.
Polyclonal antibodies are obtained by immunizing an animal (rabbit, mouse, etc.) to induce multiple B-cell clones producing a mixed antibody pool against several epitopes of the antigen, purified by antigen affinity chromatography. For monoclonal antibodies, spleen cells are fused with myeloma cells after immunization to form hybridoma cells; limiting dilution and screening then yield a single B-cell clone that stably secretes a highly specific antibody against a single epitope.
Antibodies for WB, IHC, IF, ELISA, flow cytometry, Co-IP, and other assays; diagnostic reagent development, etc.
